If an "Outgoing Calls Only" customer were to call an "Incoming & Outgoing Calls" customer, would the "Outgoing Calls Only" customer pay the per minute rate charged for calling whatever country/area code the "Incoming & Outgoing Calls" customer's VoIP phone number has?
   >  YES  Making an in-network call (with either option) requires the customer to start dialing with prefix "09". If customer does NOT start dialing an in-network call with prefix "09", then the call will NOT be processed as an in-network call and therefore will be charged as usual.
Can a UWT VoIP customer to call a UWT "Outgoing Calls Only" customer's VoIP phone?
    >  NO

If a customer has "Incoming & Outgoing Calls" with just the Softphone, what happens if somebody calls when the softphone software isn't running at the time of the call?
      >  If the softphone is turned off when someone is dialing that VoIP phone number, then the caller will hear a busy signal and the VoIP customer will not receive any notification about the calling party.

Is broadband internet access required for VoIP phone hardware?
        >   YES

Does internet speed and quality impact the connection quality is for calls placed with the Softphone vs. calls placed using VoIP hardware?
      >  VoIP hardware generally performs better compared to VoIP Softphone. However, the quality difference can be very minimal depending on the computer's processing power, available resources (RAM, ROM, etc..), and number of applications running at the time of softphone use.

What factors impact quality of VoIP?
         >  In theory if a dial-up connection has a bandwidth of 56 Kbps both ways and is stable, the quality of the voice communication would be similar to one over a broadband connection.

This is due to the fact that for one voice channel using the codec G723 the required bandwidth is around 16 Kbps leaving the rest for other uses.

In some places dialup connections are not stable and seldom have the required bandwidth both ways all the time making the voice communication less than optimum but generally you can carry a conversation without big problems.

On the other hand if the user has an ADSL connection but he is in a network where some other users are doing tasks that require a lot of Internet bandwidth, again the voice communication will suffer.

What I am trying to say is that quality wise not only the speed of the Internet connection matters but a lot of other factors that are at least as important as the speed. This is valid for any voice over IP system. So the best approach is to try UWT service and see if you are satisfied with the experience.
